Several members of our staff along with 1200 other volunteers helped make the 6^th Annual Sauk Prairie Against Hunger Food Packing event a success on Thursday, October 26^th.  The event was held at Grand Avenue Elementary School and Edge has participated every year the event has been held.   As part of their efforts nearly 290,000 meals were packed which is the equivalent of over one semi-trailer full of food.  The ingredients for the meals were provided by the non-profit group Feed My Starving Children.  The food will ultimately be sent to families around the world including locations in Haiti, Uganda and Argentina.  These meals means that 788 children will not go hungry for the next year.
