Edge has welcomed several new employees since our last update on April 25th, when we welcomed Alyssa Krantz and Anthony Seibel.
Structural Department
Harrison Grittinger
Harrison has joined our Structural department in our Prairie du Sac office. He recently completed his Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering at Swansea University and passed his FE Exam. He currently resides in Verona and started Monday, June 25th.
Design Engineering Co-Op
Andrew Shervheim
Andrew will be doing a Design Engineering Co-Op with our Burnsville office for his Summer and Fall semesters, primarily working under the guidance of Otto Dingfelder and Zach Schopf. He started on July 9th and will be with us through December 2018.
Andrew currently resides in Lino Lakes, MN and just finished up his junior year at the University of Minnesota, pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He first earned his Associates degree in Engineering at Century College in White Bear Lake (started while still in high school) before transferring to the U of M. While at Century College, he became a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, and graduated with top honors. He acted as Project Manager for a NASA sponsored CubeSat project, and is currently a member of Engineers without Borders (Ethiopia project), as well as the English Club (geared toward international students/diversity) at the U of M. Before starting with Edge, Andrew went on a mission trip to France with the U of M Cru organization and joined us upon returning to the U.S. He has also worked as a youth camp counselor teaching wilderness survival skills, as well as serving as a teaching assistant and tutor. In his free time, Andrew enjoys backpacking, rock climbing, drawing, swing dancing, juggling and reading.
Graphic Design Intern
Alexandra (“Allie”) Christensen
Allie will be doing a Graphic Design Internship with our Prairie du Sac office over the summer. She will work primarily under Arlen Ostreng helping to improve our website, social media presence, brochures and other marketing materials. She will be with us from June 8th through August 2018.
Allie currently resides in the Madison area and has previously attended Madison College with plans to further her education at UW-Stout this fall. During her time at Madison College she was the art director and graphic designer for student newspaper “The Clarion”. She has also received multiple awards for her work at the Clarion as well as State and National Design competitions for advertising design through SkillsUSA. Allie also has prior work experience as a photo editor and graphic designer through Focal Flame Photography where she obtained and edited photos of athletes/racers competing in triathlons, fun runs and other community events.
